Alion Energy produces tracker and fixed tilt ballasted mounting systems with fully automated cleaning robots.  Simplified installation processes and no need to penetrate the ground reduces installation time and risk, while fully automated cleaning maximizes energy.  Our fully ballasted single axis tracker is capable of being installed on grades of up to 15%.  Perfect for harsh and rocky environments frequently found in South America.  Alion delivers the most energy possible wherever you want it, built on time.

We drive the lowest LCOE for Solar PV using 5 main levers:  1. Lower capital costs for both tracking and fixed-tilt based systems; 2. Faster installation time via fewer parts;  Eliminates drilling and pull tests associated with metal piles; 3. Lower and predictable cleaning costs reducing operating costs; 4. Higher energy production thru lower soiling losses.  Enabled by Alion’s autonomous robotic cleaning (water or dry);  5. Longer life thru better design and material use.

No other mounting solution can use a single robot to perform dry or water-based cleaning on 4MW+ PV blocks fully autonomously.  This is acommplished with low cost extruded concrete foundations to protect PV modules and  extend system life to 50 years, even in harsh environments.
